It would be fantastic if they move the Clark Marathon to 12.12 or 20.12, so tourists like me (I live in London and we are going to visit my wife’s father in Manila for Christmas) would have an opportunity to run a marathon in the Philippines.

The Run Manila 09: Power Run on February 15 looks like an interesting race by looking at venues where it will take place. If it’ll start from one place and finish to the other, then that will really take out the usual bore of passing thru the same route at least twice. However this will also entail problems in parking and baggage’s deposit. I hope we can get a clarification from the Organizer/s on the actual route of this race.

Its my first time I’ve visited your site. Two youth runners and enthusiasts told me about your site. Really I find it cool. Im not a runner actually, but i do jog once in a while specially during Saturdays and Sundays along the 2.5k stretch of Marikina River and ends up for a few more rounds in Marikina Sports Complex oval.
I work as a community dev’t specialist doing advocacy on Population, Health and Environment (Integrated Population Dev’t). Currently, Im helping a youth group in Marikina, the Youth Outreach Program Against Drug Abuse – YOPADA-Marikina Chapter in organizing an Advocacy Run dubbed as: Takbo Laban sa Droga, Takbo para sa Kalusugan. This is a fund raising campaign for their anti-drug and substance abuse among the youth. Btw, helping YOPADA is one of my crusade in my Home City, Marikina. (this is not my salaried job or livelihood)
