As mentioned, Nike will be giving out free Nike attire and shoes to Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon runners who were able to register with Coach Rio.
Click here to confirm if you’re on the list.
According to Coach Rio, you may have registered with him, but due to lack of available sizes for singlets and shoes, your name may not be included in the final list. Shorts won’t be given out anymore too.
If you’re listed, as I am (woohoo!), you may pick up your items from Coach Rio at Ultra, 6 to 9am and 5 to 9pm, until Thursday. See you in Singapore!

good luck Jaymie!!! seeing you run a comfortable 6:00/km for distances 15km to 25km, I predict a strong sub 2hour 21km run at Singapore…perimeter of 1:48 and 1:50…I’m being conservative considering your slight pain the past week…there’s more excitement predicting the bull run than the bear markets…all pun intended!!! bets are in.
Mon naman. Pressure yan! My goal is 2:15. Are you joining the Fuego run? Hope to see you there.

Hi Jaymie, post race Tiffin and I plan to eat breakfast either at the basement of Funan where they have a foodcourt and usually some stalls are open by 9:00 am or we will be at the gound floor of the same mall at the Yakun Kaya stall for some Kaya toast.
Good Luck on your race!
Regards Mark & Tiffin
Tara, let’s all meet up there! One with the fastest time treats everyone? 🙂

Jaymie, good luck and godspeed! 2:15 is way too slow for you. You should easily do sub 2-hrs.

Jaymie hi. I feel your 2:15 goal is way too conservative given that you are a strong runner. But lets keep it at that. You dont want to raise the bar too much and not be able to beat it the next time 🙂 Enjoy!

Good luck Jaymie!

Hi TBR,
I am a Filipino based in Singapore and will be running my first half marathon on Sunday as well. (See my blog on running my first half: http://juanonjuans.blogspot.com/)
It’s nice to know that there’s a significant contingent of Pinoys going to fly in for the SCSM. It would be great to run side by side with kababayans.
Good luck and hope to see you guys on Sunday!
